Real-Time Technology Enhances Businesses and Daily Lives, Says SAP Pakistan’s New Country Manager Osman Khan

Digital transformation will drive Pakistan Vision 2025’s knowledge economy growth and citizen wellbeing, says SAP’s new Pakistan Country Manager.

Pakistan Vision 2025 outlines the goals for the country to become of the world’s top 10 economies by 2047, especially in economic diversification, and greater use of ICT in the public and private sectors.

“As Pakistan’s economy shifts to the knowledge economy, nationwide digital transformation will modernize government services and infrastructure, enhancing businesses and daily lives. SAP is committed to supporting Pakistan Vision 2025, and training the youth for the high-tech skills of tomorrow,” said Osman Khan, Country Manager of Pakistan for global technology company SAP.

Using cloud and mobile solutions, organizations can have real-time visibility on their lines of business, while the government can use dashboards to measure the effectiveness of citizen services.

“Osman Khan has strong leadership qualities and an in-depth knowledge of Pakistan’s challenges and opportunities in technology adoption, and driving innovation in government, energy, and telecommunications,” said Gergi Abboud, Managing Director for the Gulf and Pakistan at SAP.

Across more than 18 years of IT experience, Osman Khan has developed go-to-market strategies, increased revenue, and built winning teams. Previously, he was Pakistan Country Manager for EMC.

SAP has more than 320,000 customers in 190 countries, including Pakistan’s innovators in education, manufacturing, telecommunications, and utilities.

With two-thirds of Pakistan’s population under 25, the SAP Training and Development Institute is training youth on technology knowledge and skills to successfully enter the workforce of the future.
