Samsung Electronics has
been manufacturing products which range from Consumer Electronics and
Mobilephones devices to IT products. This leading technology based company has

customers for smart luxurious life. Keeping this aim, Digital technology leader, Samsung Pakistan today announced aggressive
plans to capture the Pakistan AC and
FPTV market. In line with its plans, Samsung has set up a new assembly line for
Split ACs and FPTV at its SmartZone distributor facility.
In this factory line, modern
technologies would be utilized to make state of the art Televisions and Air
conditioners, under the supervision of Korean Engineers. Throughout the years,
Samsung has maintained high quality standards for its products which is why
this brand is trusted by the customers globally.
In Pakistan, Samsung has been
positively adding to the society and economy by participating in many
philanthropic projects and strengthening its business ties in the local market.
With the launch of this factory line, Pakistan’s economy will also see a
significant up rise because the localized production centers will increase the
employment opportunities.
Mr. J H Lee
stated, “The AC and TV business is a key
growth engine for our Consumer Electonics business. The setting up of the FPTV
and AC facility will provide a strong fillip to this business on account of
world-class, superior quality production at this facility and better supply
chain management leading to faster response to the market.
At the inauguration, Samsung Pakistan’s
MD, Mr. J H Lee stated, “Samsung wants to be a part of Pakistan’s growth and
economic development. For this very reason, we have always played our role by
spreading our business in the region and by aiding new startups.” He added,
“The launch of Factory line in Lahore is the next step in this journey. It
would not only manufacture quality products for the customers in Pakistan, it
would also increase employment opportunities and help boost the economy.”
